CHRISTIAN MICHAEL SALON – TERMS OF SERVICE
By booking an appointment with Christian Michael Salon, you acknowledge and agree to the following Terms of Service. These policies are in place to ensure fairness, clarity, and a high-quality experience for every guest.
1. SERVICE SATISFACTION & REDO POLICY
We strive to provide exceptional service and results. If you are dissatisfied with your service for any reason, you must notify the salon within 7 calendar days of the original appointment.
Redo services are provided only for the original service performed, at no additional cost.
Redos must be approved by salon management and will be scheduled with the same stylist or an assigned stylist.
Refunds are not offered under any circumstances for services performed.
Failure to contact the salon within the 7-day window voids eligibility for a redo.
2. HAIR EXTENSIONS – FINAL SALE & WARRANTY TERMS
All hair extension purchases, including but not limited to Genius Wefts, Tape Wefts, K-Tips, Clip-Ins, and any Christian Michael Hair Extensions products, are FINAL SALE.
No refunds or exchanges will be provided once hair has been purchased, opened, installed, toned, altered, worn, or removed.
Extensions naturally require maintenance and proper aftercare. The salon is not responsible for damage resulting from improper home care, failure to follow aftercare instructions, use of unapproved products, or natural wear.
Any concerns with hair quality must be submitted in writing within 7 days of installation for evaluation.
3. COLOR SERVICES & EXPECTATIONS
Results may vary depending on your hair history, integrity, and natural undertones.
Corrective color may require multiple sessions to achieve desired results. No guarantees are made regarding achieving a specific shade in one session.
Excessive previous color, box dye, mineral buildup, or chemical damage may limit results.
Pricing may increase based on time, density, product usage, or additional steps needed.
4. APPOINTMENT ETIQUETTE & CANCELLATIONS
To protect our team’s time and ensure fairness:
Cancellations must be made 48 hours in advance.
Cancellations made under 48 hours or no-shows will result in a 50–100% service charge, at the salon’s discretion.
Late arrivals of more than 15 minutes may require rescheduling and may incur a fee.
5. PAYMENT & DEPOSITS
A non-refundable deposit may be required for extension services, corrective services, or large bookings.
Deposits are applied to the final balance and cannot be transferred to another date or client.
All services and products must be paid in full at the time they are rendered.
6. HEALTH, SAFETY & LIABILITY RELEASE
By receiving services, you acknowledge:
You have disclosed all relevant medical conditions, sensitivities, allergies, or hair history that may affect your service.
Christian Michael Salon is not responsible for reactions or outcomes that occur due to undisclosed information.
The salon reserves the right to refuse service for any reason, including but not limited to safety concerns, unrealistic expectations, or inappropriate behavior.
7. PHOTO & VIDEO CONSENT
You consent to the salon taking before-and-after photos or videos of your hair for documentation and training purposes.
With verbal consent, these may also be used for marketing, social media, or educational content for Christian Michael Salon and Christian Michael Hair Extensions.
You may decline public usage at any time, but documentation photos remain part of your service record.
8. PRODUCT & AFTERCARE RESPONSIBILITY
Once you leave the salon:
You are responsible for the daily maintenance and care of your hair and extensions.
We recommend only using Christian Michael Hair Extensions approved products to ensure longevity and performance.
Damage caused by heat, chemicals, improper brushing, sleeping without protection, or failure to follow aftercare instructions is not the responsibility of the salon or stylist.
9. LIMITED LIABILITY
Christian Michael Salon and its stylists are not liable for:
Damage resulting from previous chemical services performed elsewhere
Breakage due to compromised hair integrity
Slipping, matting, or tangling caused by lack of proper maintenance
Reactions to products unless due to proven negligence
Costs associated with services performed outside the salon after your appointment
By booking, you voluntarily agree to release Christian Michael Salon from any claims resulting from known or unknown conditions of your hair, scalp, or previous services.
10. POLICY UPDATES
Policies may be updated at any time. The most current version will always be available on our website. Continued booking constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
